Why aren’t you posting Minecraft videos?

My wife and I would love to grow our family, but due to fertility issues, this is not possible using typical means. We have decided the best way to overcome this challenge is to work harder and grow a business that can help us afford the best care or follow the oddly expensive adoption path.

Do you still play Minecraft?

I love Minecraft, but to allow me to focus on things that will help my family, I must limit my time spent playing Minecraft. (For now)

Are you playing any games?

I love making videos and treating that as a game. I also treat the business as a true open-world sandbox game. So for me, right now, making TikToks, and YouTube Shorts and focusing on my business are the games I’m enjoying. That said, I will load up some fun from time to time when I genuinely have nothing else to work on or need some time to separate from my work.

What else do you do?

I’ll post more on this later, as my name, “mrhobbeys,” was not chosen randomly. I was very young when I decided I wanted to be known online as Mr. Hobbies, and while I always had trouble spelling. I knew I had to get established somehow, and after searching around, I found something called GeoCities, someone on GeoCities was using the correct spelling, and the name had meaning to me as I loved to do TONS of things. Approx 8-10 years old at the time, I already loved fishing, hunting, reading, rock collecting, gold panning, video games, and just about everything else my parents would let me try! The same is true today. I love life!
